FIRST2RUN meets Smartpilot

On March 27, NOVAMONT hosted in its headquarters in Novara an international delegation of representa􀆟ves of pilot plants and other stakeholders participatinng in the European project SmartPilots, funded by the Interreg Europe program.

Novamont was chosen as an Italian excellence in industrial research in the bioeconomy sector and within the event presented also FIRST2RUN project.

The participants were interested on how the project involves setting up a biorefinery in collaboration with the local agricultural sector, research institutions and industry.

The delegation had the opportunity to visit Novamont’s main research center, and find out more about bioproducts made by FIRST2RUN project starting from low input oilseed crops.
